Wholehearted Committment to God's Word

Deuteronomy 6:6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7 "Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up." 8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. (NLT)

We are to commit ourselves wholeheartedly to Adonai’s commands. It is a choice to obey God’s word, it is within our willpower to yield to His law or not. What a blessing awaits us and our family members when we value and obey His word! We are to repeat Abba’s instructions to our children, again and again! When we repeat the word, we ignite faith and activate godly wisdom. Yes, we declare the word always, in the morning, at noon, afternoon, evening, night and midnight. We must talk the word with our children at home, outside the home, on the road, in the fields, when we are about to sleep, and we wake up, when we sit, stand, lie down, lean, walk, hop, jump, jog and even run. We are to tie God’s law on our hands and foreheads and write them on our doorposts and gates. Abba’s word is to be studied and remembered. Yes, Adonai wants wholehearted commitment to His Word.
