Mercy Reserved

"...And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments...." - Exodus 20:6

Indeed it is because of Adonai's mercies that we are not consumed, for His compassions fail not (Lamentations 3:22)... how great His mercies has been to me this year...all I can say is, THANK YOU LORD!

Ebenezer

October the eleventh always fills me with joy. It is a day that commemorates Adonai's help in my life. What a blessing, that Adonai is our help. He is the Rock of our salvation (Psalm 18:2). Hannah recorded in 1 Samuel 2: 1-2 that there is no other Rock like Elohim.

Thank You, Ebenezer, Adonai shelli, thank You!

Today is yom kippur - the day of atonement. A day of reflection it is! What great, amazing love the Father has for us all that He gave His only begotten Son to be the propritiation of our sins! What great love! What amazing love.

Thank You Father!

Your Gift

If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. - Romans 12:8

This verse is very simple and direct. I love verses like that. There is no ambiguity, the message is clear and the instructions are clear. God's word is our guide and we shape our lives from His word. His word instructs that I take my leadership ability responsibility seriously... help me Father to bring You pleasure with the leadership ability You've given me, bashem Yeshua. Amen!

"Be still, and know that I am God!
I will be honored by every nation.
I will be honored throughout the world."
- Psalm 46:10

Elohim, Elshaddai, El Elyon will be honored by every nation and throughout the whole world. He is God, He is the Lord, He is the Master of the universe, Melech ha'olam.

I am still and I know that Adonai, He is God!

The Sustaining God

Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. - Psalm 55:22 [KJV]

NLT version says: Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Our God is Elshaddai - the All-Sufficient One. Therefore, there is no need or care too great or small for Him. We are to come boldly to His throne of grace and receive, we are to give Him our every concern or issue. He will sustain us, He will supply our every need, He will protect us. He is the All-Sustaining God!

Stand

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. - Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)

My short exhortation today is "having done all, to stand"... yes, sometimes, the "all" is a lot, and the "all" can be overwhelming, but it must, can be done. Inspiring, is the fact that the "all" is to stand, not to fall, not to stumble, not to falter, but to stand.

We can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us, and when we wait upon Adonai, He renews our strength. So STAND, I shall because My God, King and Father reigns!

God The Word

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. - Genesis 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - John 1:1

In the early days, when I was young in the Lord, my friends and I were very passionate about soul winning. I still am, but I have lost touch with those friends so I cannot speak for them. We had "group evangelism", where we (a group of three or four) tried to speak with one person... I wouldn't do that today, I believe that anything more than two is a crowd, but in those days, that was what we did.

On one occasion, a member of the group told our potential spiritual client to replace the word for God in John 1:1 with love for God is love. God indeed is love - (1 John 4:8) and He (God) so loved us that He gave Yeshua for us, that we might live eternally (John 3:16). The thought of God's love still amazes me.

This moment however, I am awed by the fact that "in the beginning, God... and in the beginning was the word." The certainty of God's presence before it all began and the indubitableness of the word makes the greatness of God's love all the more amazing!

God the Word was there, as He is now and as He shall ever be. God the Word so loved that He spake, He gave and He made. God the Word, as in the beginning, is with me. THANK YOU!
