Confidently and Joyfully
"Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory." - Romans 5:2 (NLT)
What a blessing! Christ has done it all! He has brought us into a place of great undeserved privilege! When the grateful Christian realizes what Jesus Christ did 2,000 years ago, the awesomeness of it all revives the soul. Isn't is just amazing that Christ made us to "stand" in this new place where we are? We stand in this new position of righteousness which we enjoy with God, this new seat next to Christ in the heavenly places, this new position of "the justified", this new position of being a member of the household of faith... yes, we stand.
It's also invigorating to know that we have a hope in this new position, the confident and joyful hope of sharing in God's glory. What a blessing indeed! We are partakers of His nature and we shall be partakers of His glory. THANK YOU JESUS!

The Throne of God and the Lamb
No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. - Revelation 22:3

I really love this verse, first it gives the certainty of the end of all curses. As an African, I was schooled into the knowledge of curses at a tender age, so I know they are real. I was also schooled into the Lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ, so I know that through faith in His supreme authority, every curse is broken. The verse above also presents the reason why there will no longer be a curse upon anything on the earth; because of the presence of the throne of God and the Lamb. What a blessing! I also like the way the verse ends.. it states that God's servants will worship Him... that is desire of every believer, to worship God. To worship God in spirit and in truth as our Lord declared in John 4:24.
So I rejoice, knowing that the time of the vision Rabbi Yochanan (Apostle John) will come, and I give God all the glory.

His Enablement
"I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him" - 1 Timothy 1:12 (NLT)
It is an awesome privilege to be called by God, to be anointed by Him and the serve Him. What an honor!

Stand Fast

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. - 2 Thessalonians 2:15
Many times in life the only option left is to stand fast. Stand fast in the face of adversity, stand fast in the face of seeming defeat, stand fast in the face of seeming failure, stand fast, despite the apparent turmoil, yes, stand fast. Rabbi Sh'aul instructs us to stand fast, holding taught traditions, whether by word or deed. The traditions of the word and traditions of works based on the word, become compulsory companions to the daunting decision to stand fast. Regular consultations with proven techniques and established principles, coupled with research of divinely inspired actions empower the Christian soldier to stand fast. Yes, I chose to stand fast!

I Say to Myself
I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" - Lamentations 3:24Words are SO IMPORTANT! Prophet YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) knew this. He "said to himself" We all say to ourselves don't we? We all have self-talk, but the content of our "talk" empowers or weakens us. We are so blessed to belong to Adonai. He has given us so much! One particular gift of God is the gift of speech. We can speak, we can talk, we can profess, we can declare, we can make decrees! What a blessing! Prophet Jeremiah made a decision to make a particular declaration. He confessed; "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" What a declaration, what a statement, what a blessing!
I declare as well, Adonai is my inheritance and I hope in Him. HalleluYah! I declare, Adonai is my inheritance, He alone is my portion! Adonai is my strength, He is my deliverer. Adonai is my shelter, He is my joy, yes, I hope in Adonai!

Contend for the Faith

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
This Resurrection Sunday Celebration I am quickened to meditate on contending for the faith that was once delivered unto our ancestors in the Lord. Different bible versions shed a little light on the verse. One version says "compete for the faith", another says "contend earnestly for the faith", yet another states, "continue your vigorous defense of the faith" and lastly, another version declares "continue your fight for the Christian faith."
When Yeshua (Jesus) rose from the dead, He made tremendous power available. When we desire His best, we are filled with His goodness. The path of the righteous, shines brighter and brighter till a perfect day.
Adonai, help me to contend for Your kind of faith bashem Yeshua. Amein!

Lead Me to the Rock
This year has been amazing! God has had me longing for Him more and more... such a blessing! There's also been some developments that have had me running to Adonai for His everlasting mercies and glorious comfort. This month, February - 2013, I lost an uncle to untimely death. My culture defines untimely death as death below 70 years of age. This song and psalm (Psalm 61:2) came up in my spirit, a song I used to sing many years ago.
Adonai, lead me to Your Rock!
Maranatha - Higher Than I

Mercy Reserved
"...And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments...." - Exodus 20:6
Indeed it is because of Adonai's mercies that we are not consumed, for His compassions fail not (Lamentations 3:22)... how great His mercies has been to me this year...all I can say is, THANK YOU LORD!

Ebenezer
October the eleventh always fills me with joy. It is a day that commemorates Adonai's help in my life. What a blessing, that Adonai is our help. He is the Rock of our salvation (Psalm 18:2). Hannah recorded in 1 Samuel 2: 1-2 that there is no other Rock like Elohim.
Thank You, Ebenezer, Adonai shelli, thank You!

Your Gift
If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. - Romans 12:8
This verse is very simple and direct. I love verses like that. There is no ambiguity, the message is clear and the instructions are clear. God's word is our guide and we shape our lives from His word. His word instructs that I take my leadership ability responsibility seriously... help me Father to bring You pleasure with the leadership ability You've given me, bashem Yeshua. Amen!
